Dominating high-stakes cash games
Jennifer Harman was born in Reno, Nevada, in 1964 and learned poker from her father as a child. She began playing professionally as a teenager, working her way up from low-stakes games in Reno to mid-stakes games in Los Angeles and eventually to the biggest games in the world in Las Vegas.
Harman established herself as a fixture in the biggest cash games in Las Vegas, including the legendary "Big Game" at the Bellagio. In games with blinds reaching $4,000/$8,000, she competed against—and beat—the best players in the world. She was one of the few women ever to compete at this level.

Harman is known for her exceptional reading ability and fearless play. Male opponents who underestimated her quickly learned their mistake. She excels at limit hold'em and mixed games, formats where consistent decision-making and opponent reading matter most. Her style is aggressive but controlled.
Harman has won two WSOP bracelets, both in limit hold'em events. More importantly, she proved that women could compete at the highest levels of professional poker. She has mentored numerous female players and advocates for greater female participation in poker.
Jennifer Harman was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2015, recognized as one of the best cash game players in history, regardless of gender. Her decades of success in the biggest games proved that poker skill has nothing to do with gender. She remains an inspiration to women pursuing professional poker.
